Hydraulics for RH Spirit of Tradition

Holmatro recently delivered the rigging hydraulics for the 49 mtr Spirit of tradition Ketch built at Royal Huisman.

This super-yacht ketch is designed by Gerard Dykstra and Partners, whose expertise in performance-orientated classic yachts is proven. A superb combination of modern and tasteful classic looks above the waterline, with a modern, easily driven hull shape below. With her aluminium hull, tall carbon spars and comprehensive sail plan, this will be a powerful, lightweight yacht.
Holmatro’s hydraulic rigging cylinders will provide the ultimate in rig-control, to battle the elements in a comfortable but performance oriented manner
The total set of all hydraulics included a massive main boomvang -360 double acting cylinder, with a pulling force of 52.240 kgf Max.
